| Four composers set out to write music specially for one of the leading vocal ensembles in the world. The “dramas” that are the result of these efforts make use of diverse compositional approaches and text materials. These include for instance a mini-play by Heiner Müller, a translation tragedy and a patent application, and an onomatopoeic drama that tells a story without putting it into words. All of this is both a musical and a theatrical experience, and therefore an ideal setting to bring forth yet another brilliant performance by the Neue Vocalsolisten. |
